Quality Assurance Engineer
As a growing software company we are seeking a motivated, service-oriented individual to fill the position of Quality Assurance Engineer. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to design and implement new Quality Assurance processes in conjunction with creating and executing test plans in order to ensure the accuracy and stability of new and existing company products. The QA Engineer will work closely with programmers, development analysts, and managers; excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. This position requires 5 years of prior QA experience, expert knowledge of the software development lifecycle, creative problem solving skills, and knowledge of accounting best practices. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Accounting, or related discipline is preferred. Knowledge of the hospitality industry is helpful. Customer Service Technician
Candidates should have strong problem solving skills with at least one year of hands-on experience (or relevant coursework) related to supporting and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, databases and networking technologies in a help desk environment. Outstanding customer service and communications skills are a must! Technology industry certifications and experience using and supporting Microsoft SQL Server are preferred. Experience in the hospitality industry, knowledge of accounting principles or Spanish language skills are a plus. Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: supporting customers in proper use of Integrated Business Systems’ software, clearly communicating complex technological concepts to end users of all skill levels, and accurately documenting support incidents within a call tracking system. Frequent interaction with customer support representatives, developers, and managers is required.
Quality Assurance Technician
Successful candidates will be responsible for creating and executing test plans to ensure the accuracy and stability of new and existing company products. The QA Technician will work closely with programmers and other technicians; excellent communication skills are a must. This position requires prior QA experience, an understanding of software development and knowledge of accounting practices. Experience with Server 2003, Server 2008, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and SQL 2005 or higher a must. Ideally, the candidate will have experience with Point of Sale and Web Testing and experience with Team Foundation Server (Visual Studio 2010). Proven work history in the software or accounting industry is preferred. Associates degree or higher in Information Systems, Business, or Accounting, and prior experience in a related job is preferred. Knowledge of the golf and/or hospitality industry is helpful.
Desktop Developer
Successful candidates can demonstrate junior to mid-level programming skills, multi-tasking abilities, and a team-oriented attitude. The candidate should be proficient in C#, VB.NET, and MS SQL. Proficiency in TSQL, solid understanding of .net framework v3.5 or 4.0, working knowledge of WinForms, and excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. Preferred Experience would include some experience with ASP.NET, WPF/Silverlight, LINQ, WCF, Web 2.0, and Visual Studio 2008/2010. Experience with POS systems, accounting, and credit card network processing development is a plus. Experience with agile development. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business and/or MCPD certification preferred.
Web Developer
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience building websites from the ground up ranging from static web pages to enterprise-wide applications. The candidate will also possess creative talents with emphasis on usability and clean design. The primary responsibilities of this position include: Ability to translate complex business initiatives into innovative technology solutions, defining architectural vision and direction of enterprise-wide solutions, coordinate and communicate with project team and stakeholders regarding technical matters such as deployments, technology upgrades, issue resolutions etc. Creating technology roadmaps in line with business vision and direction, working with peers and management to understand inefficiencies in existing business processes and applications and recommend solutions, working collaboratively with the other senior technical experts in IT to make technology decisions impacting cross platform solutions and implementations, designing the UI for web and desktop applications, staying current with the evolution of the technology industry, development methodologies, and architectural frameworks in relation to overall technology vision and advising and preparing formal presentations to executive management and senior level business partners on web-based technology solutions. BS and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. In-depth working knowledge/experience with some or all of the following technologies: XML, ASP.NET, Silverlight, CSS, JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, C#, SQL Server 2005/2008, knowledge of XHTML and CSS web standards and validation. Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in Microsoft Silverlight/Expression Blend is a plus. Desktop UI design experience helpful.
